Our Pediatric Dental Office

Meet Our Team!

Our primary asset is our talented and friendly staff...

Your child’s appointment will be comfortable and enjoyable because of the extensive training our team has received and the relaxed environment that we have created.

We cultivate a relationship with each of our patients, which not only ensures better children’s dental care, but also turns a visit with our doctors and team into a visit between friends.  Our team members look forward to enjoying a long-term relationship with both you and your children.

• We take special notes on each child during the visit.

• We care about what techniques work the best for your child.

• We create an atmosphere of collaboration with parents, making sure you have a clear understanding of the treatment, follow-up, and solutions to your child’s dental health.

• We believe in continuing education and as we keep ourselves up-to-date we will also keep you up-to-date on the latest equipment and techniques used to treat your children.

We are available
Monday and Wednesday 9-3,

Tuesday 9-5, Thursday 1-6 and Friday 8-12.

Our doctor on call can be reached at
anytime for after hour emergencies.

Appointments

Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request 24-hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment.

Insurance

Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Your estimated patient portion must be paid at the time of service. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.

Financial Information

Your treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees, and we will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered. Charges are payable at the time of treatment.

We accept payments by cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Please ask a member of our staff, and we will review our payment options to accommodate your financial needs. If special arrangements are needed, please talk to our office manager prior to receiving service.

Although we participate with most major dental insurances, it is difficult to participate in all insurances.  We welcome you to our office even If we are out of network with your insurance.  With many out of network plans, there is often little or no difference in the out of pocket expense going out of network with our office. We are happy to discuss all of these options with you.

During your first visit to our office we want to take the time to get acquainted and gather information. This includes a thorough examination and possibly taking x-rays we feel may be required to make a complete diagnosis. At this time we will also discuss with you the nature of any necessary dental care.

We have ways of explaining procedures to children, being honest and presenting it in a manner that will not frighten them. If your child asks, “will it hurt?” We feel it is wise to say that Dr. Lubisich is your friend and will be very gentle with you. Avoid phrases such as “it won’t hurt” and “that wasn’t so bad.”  We want your child to have positive memories of going to our office.

Please complete our New Patient Forms before you visit.

First Pediatric Dental Visit

Pediatric Dentistry is the dental specialty recognized by the American Dental Association which encompasses comprehensive dental care for all children, from infancy through adolescence.

A children’s dental specialist like Dr. Lubisich are a practitioner who, after becoming a general dentist (often called a family dentist), has completed an additional two years of post-doctoral training in the recognition and treatment of children’s dental services. Specialty education includes child psychology, behavior guidance, preventive techniques, restorative dentistry, orthodontics, sedation dentistry, and the treatment of children with special needs. Both of our doctors are certified pediatric dental specialists.

A thorough exam will be done to evaluate the health of your child’s teeth, gums and mouth. Dr. Lubisich will evaluate your child’s growth and development and check to make sure your child’s oral development is on track.  Our office will make child-specific recommendations for the need of sealants, fluoride and other services based on your child’s individual needs and habits.

We strive to make each visit fun, educational and memorable for you & your child!

Children’s Dental Topics:

The American Association for Orthodontists recommends that every child have an orthodontic evaluation by the age of 7. Early detection and treatment gives your child the edge - a much better chance for natural and normal development. One advantage of having Dr. Lubisich for your child’s dental home is that he monitors their growth & development on a regular basis.  Our parents truly appreciate having orthodontic treatment done in our office.  This allows them to coordinate cleaning and check-up appointments with orthodontic appointments.

By working with the natural growth instead of against it, we can prevent problems from becoming worse, and give your child or teen a lifetime of healthy smiles! Studies have shown that people who have straight teeth are more likely to smile more. This leads to a greater self esteem which may lead to a more fulfilling life.
